Japanese brush pen.
Some years ago my Japanese teacher gave me a cool thick brush pen to practise my kanji writing, but for I while I thought it was a shame to use it without a good reason. When I started to bring my sketchbook everywhere, I also decided to test materials and just sketch whatever came to mind. In this case I was trying to list the kanji I remembered, and later started sketching a fitting scene in the next page.
